Not only has the horrible service continued and the horrible cold food, but now its not $5 buffet its $5 buffet (and some change) so its false advertisement and now you have to pay 85 cents more for the same horrible food. And no, its not for fat lazy people to eat at a buffet. Some of us are busy and would rather have veggies instead of fries and a burger while we are out. We should be able to have a nice meal whether its a buffet or not no matter what the price. And you only get "fat" from a buffet if you are over indulgent and eat more than you usually do. I think its awful the managers there think they are God and it doesnt matter if you complain. Do they think "poor" people will just eat slop because they can't afford anything else? Is that their miindset to say "so" when you have a complain that the "fried" chiicken is cold? DO NOT eat there!

I used to like 5 Dollar but then the managers service is horrible! We came in there twice and the chicken tenders had ice on them and they were supposed to be fried! We went to the managers and she said "so". No concern whatsoever! Their water tastes like plastic has been melted in it and when we told her about that she said "well...", and we asked to have something else and she then told the waitress wait until we got up and paid for the drink, would not even let her tell us she could not get it for us and then when we got up she said "What do you want!" What poor service! We would have gotten up if we had known the waitress was not allowed to bring us a drink. I have never been treated so rudely. Then we asked to have her managers number or area supervisor and she said she was it and she would not give out Mr. Barnhills number. We later talked to a waitress and they said it wasn't them and they don't even talk to the local managers if they have a problem because they are so rude they catch Mr. Barnhill when he comes in. They also said the managers have taken away his phone number because they don't want them to call him. How awful is it in this economy to be treated this way! Its definately not the waitresses fault and if you don't have a problem with cold fried chicken tenders and plastic tasting water its a nice place to eat...at least the waitresses are nice. If anyone knows how to get in touch with Mr.Barnhill please let us know. We tried the internet but could not find anything.
