Best pizza anywhere in the South. I grew up in Pittsburgh where they take pride in the pie. Moved to Alabama in 1983 and have not had a great pizza until I found Vitoli's. I live in Montgomery, but will stop every time we go to the beach!

I've lived not too far from New York City, and also in Chicago, IL. Since moving to the Gulf Coast, I've missed good NYC stromboli and Chicago pizza and had resigned myself to the fact that none existed this far south...until my husband found Vitolli's. The house salad and homemade creamy italian dressing blows away some of the high dollar Italian restaurants in both cities, and the stromboli made my toes curl, it was so good. I thought I was back in New York, only the service was so much more pleasant! Go. Enjoy. We ate, then ordered a second round to take home for dinner the next night (which they prepared specifically for reheating!) Now I can get my little taste of NYC and Chicago without travelling or dealing with city traffic!
