To the reviewer who called the food at this restaurant "dog food" and complained about the lack of "green chile", um, this is a Mexican Restaurant, NOT a NEW MEXICAN restaurant. In Mexico, green chile is not used as part of traditional cuisine. Next time, go to Cervantes or another one of many local NEW Mexican restaurants, and not a Mexican restaurant.

I don't know what place all these 5 star ratings people ate at, but not the same one I ate at...without doubt the WORST Mexican food I have ever eaten...absolutely NO green chile on my "green chile" chicken enchiladas or my wife's chile rellenos...the beans were salty and obviously out of a can...the rice was dry and tasteless...about the only redeeming feature was a dab of guacamole, but even that was pretty bland...and did I mention it was $22 for two of us? Pretty expensive dog food, which is what it ended up as...thanx alot ALIBI for this lousy tip!!!

I live in Nambe now but I sure do miss the food from Lindo Mexico, it is the best food ever. I wish thy would open a place in Santa Fe, I would eat there when possible (every day). I love their Nachos, they are the bomb, they are HUGE and YUMMY and most of all the prices are great. I MISS YOU LINDO MEXICO!!!

We vacationed in beautiful New Mexico in the summer of 2009 and fell inlove with the landscape, people and the food - esp. Lindo's!
We were in New Mexico almost a month and went from Cimarron to White Sands and EVERYWHERE in between. We ate out at least once a day.
We also just found this restaurant by chance and when we first walked in the waitress started talking to me in Spanish once she quickly realized that we did not speak Spanish , she switched to English. I do look like I could be Hispanic.
This was the BEST Mexican food we have ever had. The staff were friendly, helpful and all around just sweet. You could tell it was family ran.
When we come back to Albuquerque the first place we are going in Lindo Mexico - hands down the BEST in all of New Mexico, or anywhere we have been.

Was stationed at Kirtland AFB from 2001 - 2008, by far the best Mexican in Albuquerque.. In 2001 I tried it for the first time, I went there at least once a week, the best fajitas!!!

Now stationed in Germany, can't wait to go back to Albuquerque to have my chicken fajitas!!!

i was so happy when i found this restaurant by mistake! finally an authentic Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque (not New Mexican)
Im from Texas and have been living in ABQ for 4 months, and finally found this place. The food was fresh and delicious, the restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, though they only spoke spanish, but luckily my husband speaks spanish. The only bad thing is they close at 6pm, and i finish work at 7pm, so going for dinner isnt an option for me :( other than that it is wonderful!
