My experience at Teapot was wonderful. Tfood was great, the atmosphere very posh, and the service was very friendly. Some of the best Chinese and Japanese food I have ever had!
Rating & Review:
We love this restaurant, crisp recipes with just the right amount of seasoning and a fresh not overdone taste.
Most important for me....they will deliver up to us in Westhampton! Gotta love that :o) Rating & Review:
In my experience, Teapot is very hit or miss. Sometimes the food is absolutely great and I wonder why I don't eat there more often, and then at other times the chicken is rubbery and sauces have an odd taste and are thick and plastic-y.
If they could consistently deliver high quality food, I'd love to eat there. I have, however, never become ill after eating at Teapot. Rating & Review:

If they could consistently deliver high quality food, I'd love to eat there. For sushi, I'd say that Osaka is the better bet. I have, however, never become ill after eating at Teapot. Rating & Review:
This used to be my favorite sushi restaurant anywhere. While it's still pretty great, it's not as good as I remember it being years ago. Wife got nauseous after eating her noodle plate. Cost was average. Overall, I'm disappointed enough to try the other places in town.

The last time I went to TeaPot, we ordered Shrimp Lo Mein. The shrimp had gone bad, but they still served it to us anyway!!!!! The manager didn't even apologize!!!
Also, there are rumors that the servers and chef's will spit in your food if they are fed up with the customers. Rating & Review:
Absolutely horrendous service. The food was cold, the utensils were not clean, and the service left much to be desired. I'm certainly going to go elsewhere for my next Chinese meal where it takes less than an hour and a half for my cold fried rice...

The food is incredible. My type of place, food drink and a nice night out.

Teapot is one of my favorite restaurants in Northampton. They have delicious teriyaki and tempura dishes, and their sushi is excellent. I've eaten the latter many times and I've never gotten sick, nor have any of my friends. Besides the food, I love the atmosphere at Teapot, and the staff is very friendly and prompt.

Our friend lived in Japan and took us here for the sushi/sashimi. It was so fresh and delicious. She said it was as good as the fresh fish she got off the pier in Japan at the fish markets. We have eaten there numerous times and never gotten sick. The atmosphere is much more cozy than Osaka. We also enjoy the European cafe feel in the summer when they open the sliding windows. Great value!! We'll be there again soon.

teapot is arguably the best _affordable_ choice. osaka is obviously the best sushi in town, though the waitstaff is a bit bitchy

the sushi is fabulous...arguably the best in town. i find the restaurant to be consistant. the reviewer that was sick on sushi (never fun) was the first complaint i've heard of that business. worth a try!

My sister and I were in Northampton and had been looking to stop in and try the Teapots sushi. We ordered a hot and sour soup, a classic roll and an alaskan roll from the a la carte menu. The soup and sushi were very good. Unfortunately my sister and I experienced severe stomach aches/pains and fever about 15 minutes-half hour after eating the food. It took us a good 3 hours of laying in the fetal position at home in bed to recover. Please BEWARE of the sushi at the Teapot. Again, the food was very good but the after-effects were not. Needless to say I will not be returning to the Teapot any time soon. 5/24/07

Great place to eat in the summer. They open the front windows so it feels like a sidewalk cafe. Good food, and good service. Try the scallion panacakes!!
