Reviews of Osaka Japanese Restaurant

Kept waiting forever, brought to a rotten table and nicely asked to move to another empty one. Waiters did know what to do with that request. Left us standing against the wall till, what I guess, was the manager saw us and waved us to sit down. The food was good but it was so noisy that we coudn't have a conversation. I will never go back there, bad waiters, loud and unorganized.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews here. I've eaten at Osaka on a number of occasions, and have always been highly impressed. The sushi is perhaps the best I've had - and I've sampled sushi in many different (larger) cities. I've always found the sushi fresh, and the french fusion Nobu roll is amazing. The fact that they've been voted "Best in the Valley" on a number of years doesn't surprise me at all.<br />
The place fills up quickly though on weekends, so expect a wait.

I had made reservation for what I had thought would be a very relaxing and non-regretful evening, but still waited 15 mins. on arrival. When seated our waitress did not came over until ten mins. later. When taking our order she had assumed we were ordering alcohol, but were not, she became very upset in hearing that we were not intersted in the wine or alcohol list. The atmoshpere was noisy, and our food came out a half an hour after ordering. With four shuhi chefs preparing food I had not expected such a long wait. When our food was finally brought to the table, the Alaskan Roll I had ordered was clearly not fresh. It was a very upsetting experiance.

Food was just OK. The service sucked. No comunication at all. I orderd a drink and had to remind anybody walking by. Dont know what it was but I felt uncomfortable their. I am a waiter in two restaurants, but nobody would guess that. out of uniform I dont seem like a good tipper, but could that be the issue.

the food was tasty and cooked to order, everyone in our party (of 10) was satisfied! The only downside was the noise level--can't have a quiet conversation...but if your'e looking for good food, clean restaurant, and a really good time this is the place for you!
