I don’t like the ice cream after the new people took it over. To creamy. Lost its good old fashioned taste. I can’t buy it anymore.

Carmen 's ice cream WAS the only place that we could find the true crystal texture of old fashioned homemade ice cream. I just got the $10.79 half gallon at Saubel's and sadly discovered that it is now just another ice cream. It now has a creamier texture. It's flavor is still delicious, but it is no longer special.I would only pay that much for ice cream that was unique 😔. I will miss my special treat!

Rude staff. Was my first time here and I wanted to try a new flavor before buying it. The teenager working behind the counter yelled at my and said we don’t do taste testing. I figured out why. Hard ice cream was soft and grainy and flavor wasn’t consistent throughout ice cream. If I tasted it before buying it I wouldn’t have gotten it. I was also going to buy the prepackaged sandwiches they had for purchase. Due to the rudeness of the staff I didn’t. You lost a local customer.

Have you changed your recipe.? Recently we bought 2 half gallons and they do not have any taste... It was very disappointing as this is our favor ice cream.. The favors were Vanilla and Cho. chip.

I love their chocolate and chocolate peanut butter ice cream. It is so refreshing and not thick and heavy like some of the other ice creams.

I was at Carmanstoday, been a long time...today's 11/12/22...to my surprise it seemed creamy n not as "home made" icy....I was quite surprised, didn't expect that, please bring back the old recipe,. $8.50 a half gallon is alot today, n just isn't as homemade like years ago..??

PS...don't get me wrong...Carmen's ice cream is still THE BEST!! ANY flavor I've gotten throughout my 50 years has been out of this world! But you shouldn't mess with perfection!

WHAT has happened to thee best ice cream in the world?! Has the recipe been changed? What I've loved most about Carmen's is it's icy goodness., where other ice creams are too sugary, syrupy, and creamy which make your mouth sticky. I'm a fourth generation Carmen's coneseure. The 3 generations still alive in my family are heartbroken and hungry since the perfection that was once Carmen's has gone missing. PLEASE bring back the original and perfect ice cream we've enjoyed for generations!

Without a doubt the best ice cream I have ever had. The vanilla is like heaven. Smooth, creamy, even a little sweet. Nothing like it in my over 6 decades on earth!

Absolutely the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had in my 72 years of life. Tasted it years ago, when we drove by house in Loganville.
Didn't have it for years until I bought an ice-cream cone at a snowball stand in MD Line. I immediately told my husband "THIS is the ice-cream we had years ago". I found out where to buy it in Loganville and also Saubels in Shrewsbury. My GO TO chocolate ice-cream.
Having a very hard time finding it in Saubels in the last few months. Not happy about that.

Don't expect a sitdown ice cream parlor. Do expect excellent ice cream, locally made. It's a unique recipe. Tucked in a structure behind the residence, enter the screen door, pick from their range of amazing flavors, then eat outside or in your car. I often pick the little wooden spoon, instead of plastic, because it makes me feel like a kid again. You can also purchase a half gallon or two to take home with you. A local treasure.
