The steak was divine! We had a lovely lunch and look forward to dining here again.

What an owner. I only ate what was served because I had been there for 2 hours and was STARVING! It was our 18th wedding anniversary and 20th as a couple. Out of the 3 times they messed it up, never once did they offer to comp it. Yes, with your attitude as a business owner it is sad that you treat the customer who keeps you in business thus way. Between the meal, tip as well as the drinks and tip we left at the bar, we spent almost $170. You are not a good owner and from other reviews it shows as well.
Response from the owner an hour ago
Reviews are opinions of one’s experience and I’m glad you and others have a platform . You say that you’d not like to see the owners response to your review. Interesting that it’s ok for you to have an opinion of our establishment, but we shouldn’t express our opinion of you. Your comment about “sad that we made it through the pandemic” says it all about who you are and the condescending attitude you have of others. To address your meal, the prime rib we originally sent out was on the rarer side and we did cook it longer and it came out medium. You complained again and we brought you a new piece of prime rib and your remark to Debby was “yes, that looks much better” and you ate ALL of it. After eating the entire plate of food, you complained to Jordan that it was awful. Hmmm, we do not comp empty plates. Also, the note you sent to the kitchen said it was your 20th anniversary. Sounds like you have a tendency to exaggerate. We hope you enjoy your meal at the casino tonight and happy 18th (or 20th) anniversary.

Way ta go Fargo! Wow! Congratulations Rick & Jeri, your love of the Customer shows! We came to visit the Payson area for the first time since moving to Arizona, and boy I’m glad I benchmarked this restaurant – incredible food, service, hospitality (Shawna was a fabulous server) and ambience! We’re already planning on coming back here on our next trip to Payson. The moment you approach this establishment, it gives you the feel you will be comfortable entering it. The architecture and design is welcoming, its vast entrance does not overwhelm you with but gives you the feel of a warm and comfy mountain lodge without the extreme vastness of one. Our seating was comfortable, neat and clean with enticing views through their vast windows and incredible woodwork and design. I must say they have a great array of eats available for almost any discriminating palate! After a while attempting to decide, we started off with my Money Maker Martini – scrumptious, and my wife had an Arnold Palmer – delishily prepared! We started our meal with an appetizer of Calamari Fries that you could tell were hand rolled, seasoned, deep-fried and served with a mild but tasty chipotle tartar aioli, along with a Thai dipping sauce- most definitely worth repeating. The lentil soup I had was incredible! Our main courses consisted of my Bleu Cheese Prime Rib Sammich with aged prime rib on a hoagie with Bleu Cheese grinds, fab caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and an aromatic garlic mayonnaise along with some awesome steak fries and my Wife’s Fargo Philly Cheese Steak with sliced aged prime rib and sautéed mushrooms, green peppers and red onions with melted Provolone cheese – it was served on a country French roll with more awesome steak fries. Kudos to the owners, operators and staff at Fargo’s – great overall satisfaction in your business is very hard to reach, and you have done so all around. We’ll be back ASAP! Bon appétit.
