Awful and Terrible is all I can say about this place. I've lived in Prescott for 50 years and have never recieved this kind of service. My Cardiology Office called to make an order for pick up and was spoken to very rudely and then we didn't get Chicken on our backpackers salad. When I called and asked for the manager a man by the name of Curtis answered and that is who took the order orginally. He curtly hung up on me as I was telling him what had happened and that we would probably not be back due to poor service and bad attitude. You might want a new manager because Curtis is making a bad reputation for your great place to eat!! I work for the Hospital and know alot of people who like to eat at Scouts but I won't be recommending that until new management takes place.

In the past, Scout's has been meat was thinner and had a lot of gristle. Today I decided to finally try something else and was just as disappointed in the chicken breast. More than half of it was either hard, fatty, or full of gristle as well. I know they are probably just trying to stay alive during the pandemic, but I hope it will be better again when this is all over.

The best sandwiches anywhere around!! Absolutely LOVE the Grasslands Reuben and I've not had an Italian grinder this good since I was a kid,. Took friends here and they really enjoyed their lunch!!

Try the loaded lassen. Everything negative about the place will seem a lot less important.

Prices are not cheap. Sandwich was OK, but overpriced. Nothing special, and a bit dry. The side of potato salad was beyond tiny, but that was OK, it wasn't worth eating. The service experience was strange and not good.
I asked to have onions added to my sandwich. The counter person looked at me in and odd way and acted put out. (I mean, isn't that a normal request???) He said "All we have is red onions." I said that's fine. When he rang me up he charged me 45 cents for onions—that's a bit outrageous, but...
The sandwich took a long time to prepare and there was only one other customer. Finally, I get my sandwich and take a look under the bread and I find exactly 2 short pieces of onion. Not 2 slices, 2 short pieces, i.e. not even one entire ring of onion. For half a dollar? I mean, what is that??? Some passive-aggressive way to show me who's in charge or something??? Ridiculous.
I went back to work and shared by story with several co workers. The feedback was consistent: They had all stopped going to Scouts before that day for one reason or another.
Wish I'd known

as someone who choses not to eat meat, it is a shame that when i inquire if the corn chowder has meat or is chicken soup based, i get a dirty look and disgusted, we don't know if it is chicken soup based. guess it is not homemade for sure, customer service could use some work too.
