My wife booked the party room at the Bryant Larry’s pizza on 12/1/2020. On 1/8/2021 To make sure the reservations were set my wife texted them, yes we have a picture of the text, and they responded “Yes ma’am we have you down for 30ppl in the party room on 2/13 @ 1:00.” We called back on 2/5/2021 to place the pizza order and we were told we didn’t have the party room. We asked to talk to a manager which was not available at the time. We left our phone number and waited several hours. We called them back and asked to talk to the manager and we talked to Kim. She was respectful and apologized. She said she needs to call other managers to see what they can do. She returned our call later on that night and said another person had booked the event before us and she has the party room. Lie number 1 because there wasn’t anyone else on the list either time my wife called or texted. Then Kim said they must have not transferred our booking when they changed to a 2021 calendar. Lie number 2. We texted to verify we had the reservation and they verified it 1/8/21. We had to ask if they would help us out on the pizza if we order it and take it to another location. Kim said they would give a 10% discount. I’m not wanting them nor did I ask them to give us pizza. They screwed up and 10% isn’t much of a apology. If we weren’t lied to we prolly would have taken that offer and went away only frustrated. I wanted to spend money with a local business to help out in hard times with covid restrictions. Turns out I’m giving my money to a popular chain of pizza restaurants. We made plans in advance to reduce stress. Don’t make the same mistake we did. Give your money to anyone else. We gave them a chance to make it right and they didn’t seem to care.
