We went with friends who wanted to try Palermo's -- we had heard some poor reviews regarding prices and portions, but didn't make an issue with them as they really wanted to try it out. Was very very impressed. Yes, its a bit pricey, and yes they don't fill the plate to overflowing. But the quality and preparation of the food was very impressive. Wait staff was very professional. All in all, if you want fine dining Italian, I'd highly recommend Palermo. My wife's chicken parm was as good as we've ever had. The subtle flavors of dish were not overwhelmed by sauce and cheese. My Chicken Nudo was exceptional -- herbed chicken breast with a clear reduction for the pasta sauce. Exceptional! Portion size was adequate -- enough that I could have taken a bit home in a to-go-box. Not as much as most places where I eat half, and take home half, but just about perfect. The restaurant made tiramisu was the best I've ever had -- superior to the food service variety usually served.
