My experience at Casa Portugal was terrible! It was my first and last time dining there. I dined at Casa Portugal with a group of Portuguese Cape Verdians after attending a funeral. I was the only Caucasian within the group attending. We were treated with disdain for what I now see as racism. What set me off about my dining at Casa Portugal was having to ask for a basket of bread while waiting for my meal. We were told as a group that it was against Casa Portugal's policy to bring a basket of bread out before the meal. I've never heard of such a thing. Well, they ended up breaking their own policy while we sat there. There was a Caucasian couple who came in after our group and who received a basket of bread right after they had placed their order. Casa Portugal broke their own policy while we sat there just listening to their spiel on why they could not give us a basket of bread. This restaurant has ignorant people running it. My business will not be taken there again and I advise others not to go either unless you are racist. If you're racist, it's the perfect place for you.<br />

They wouldn't even concider changing our table. I called ahead and reserved table for 5. When we came in the water just shoved an extra chair to a table for 4. When my wife asked for another table the head waiter said that it is reserved for party of 6. We started to leave and there was NO reaction.
