This place could take off and do really well if it weren't for the owner. The guy's attitude is awful and is reflected in the food he serves. Let the kids take over and retire! They at least know what good customer service is..
09/24/2010 - open for dinner or not?
really? if you advertise dinner until 8pm, then don't get pissy and make excuses at 7:30 that you can't even bear the thought of making a hot dog! never going back.

I HAVE FOUND MY NY HOME! THE BEST REAL DEAL I'VE FOUND IN COLORADO.GREAT FRESH FOOD - GREAT SERVICE WITH A NY ADDITUDE - LOVE IT!! THE MENU CHANGES REGULARLY - ALL HOME MADE OR IMPORTED FROM NY -I"LL RETURN OFTEN AND RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.

Terrible food, rotten service by owner. Overpriced! Would not only not recomend, but would spread the word about how bad. Advertises that he's open until 8 but was mumbling about trying to close by 4 or 5 when going to pick up food at 5:10.

The Cuban sandwich was tasty and you can't beat a Boylans Grape to wash it down. 4 stars just seemed too eager of a description since this is only the first time dining here. I'll give it a second chance in the future.

Awesome menu with a variety of choices. Foodd was prepared to my liking. The restaurant atmosphere is comfortably refreshing. However, I had a problem with a young gentleman who works at the establishment. I found his 'tongue' ring to be very distasteful and distracting. Aside from that one issue, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wishing to sit in leisurely surroundings for a cup of coffee and a bagel or for a full course meal, alone or with an entire family. Very bright and clean. Thumbs up!

Oh my god. They got stuff I have not seen in years. Knishes, Sabrett hot dogs, real corned beef and pastrami, even homemade chopped liver. Now their open for dinner with BBQ ribs, chicken, burgers and seafood. But you need to know that they moved to 15th &
Main to a big and beutiful place. I can't wait to go back again.

We enjoyed our lunch - a reuben and an egg salad. Bread was fresh and the ingredients were good. This isn't what I think of as a real NY Deli, but enjoyable just the same.

This is one of the best New York Style deli's you will ever eat at. The New York Reuben is just like eating in New York, and if you really want a treat try the Reuben with tongue instead, you won't believe it. They have moved so you need to call and get their new address. This is the real Brooklyn deli experience. Great food.

I have had lunch at the Brooklyn Deli two separate times. The 'cheese steak' sandwich I had today was by far the worst sandwich I have ever had. It was covered in green grease and tasted like the peppers and onions were cooked last week and kept together in the fridge. I feel like I should have taken the money I was going to spend, put it into a pile, and lit it on fire (since my first time was no better). Anyone that has ever been to New York will know that this 'Brooklyn Deli' is about as far away from authentic, as spaghetti and meatballs at a Mexican restaurant. Save your money and go to Frank the Butcher next door. They make a quality sandwich and at least then you will be able to eat your lunch.
