My favorite Vietnamese restaurant
01/20/2012 - Roger Houston
I've been going there since they opened.
Simple, fresh food that is consistently tasty with a committed long term waitstaff who have good memories.
Unpretentious and friendly, I regularly make the two and a half hour trip for dinner.
Enjoy

I love this place! I get cravings for #23, my favorite. Food is fresh and sizable portions. My relatives from NC want to come back to VT just to go there! I'd love to go once a week but usually end up there once a month. Better than the Vietnamese restaurant in Essex Jct.
Nothing fancy with the decor, but the food is delicious and well priced.

The food was fresh, delicious, and at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?
05/21/2010 - not real authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
The eggrolls were small with not much stuffing, was serve with wrong sauce.I saw the waitress touched and pulled her pants up, then handled food without washing her hands. The Pho noodle was a bit chewy, as if it was boiled too quickly

Great food and simple suroundings. I always enjoy eating in places that are small and simple. Pho Dang is both of these. The soups are excellent and the noodle and rice dishes are fresh and portions are ample. Laura, one of the staff, is truly an angel and worth the visit just to see such beauty. I will return whenever possible.

this place is great! I moved to Vt from Va, where pho was everywhere, kind of took it for granted. Even though I live 2 hours from Winooski I come here whenever I'm in Burlington. Great fresh spring rolls!

Try the tiger rolls!

Love the simplicity and quality of food. It's quick, easy and relatively cheap....gotta love it! Wish the menu was a bit more diverse but they certainly do well with the KISS principle.

We love the food, the service is casual&friendly, the price is affordable, we dirve from woodstock vt to this place also every week to eat the noodle dishes..our favorites app. is the summer roll..

My favorite Vietnamese place in the Burlington area for bun! The menu isn't particularly diverse, but they do what they do very well and I am always happy. If you want more comprehensive Vietnamese try Pho Hong on N. Winooski Ave in Burlington, but be prepared to wait. If you want pho, bun, or a plain rice plate, Pho Dang is your best bet for quick, tasty, consistently good food.

Wonderful! Amazing tasty food with reasonable prices? Who would have thought??
Small, unpretentious place. Cheerful servers.
You won't be disappointed.

Very fresh, tasty, attractive and enormous portions at a good price. We will be going back to try the crispy crepe! Friendly service in a clean, modest setting.

Eating here is a weekly event for me and a group of friends. The food is excellent, with large portions and all the ingredients are fresh. I love the simple Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup); my husband swears by the homemade lemonade and #23 entree. We both adore the simple chicken-filled deep fried Imperial Rolls. The atmosphere is very kitchy and simple...the food is what keeps us coming back.
The service cracks me up, orders come up as they do, not necessarily by table. It just adds to the atmostphere, and service is pretty fast considering everything is cooked to order. The hostess/waitress is quite attentive though, specifically bringing us wine glasses for our BYOB wine.
I plan to continue my weekly indulgence, and get my comfort food here!

Nice little hole in the wall place with good Pho and reasonable prices. Bring your own beer/wine/alcohol is fantastic. No corking fee.

Food was decent. Loved the happy ending.

Pho was good. Egg rolls, well, it must be an East Coast kind of thing. Spring rolls were ok, but they used the wrong sauce. II also ordered Bun Tom Nuong which is the grilled shrimp salad which was not bad, but its not on the menu either.
Overall, its not horrible, but its not excellent. I will return when I'm in the area.

Small portion and bad service. Their three color drink was such a joke! The waitress gave me a glass that was half filled and when I asked her if it was supposed to be more liquidy, she just added more ice cubes into the glass. Definitely not worth $2.75.
