They hired a new good looking boy who works at the counter with the crazy impatient lady. He is much much nicer than her and sometimes he gives her these looks as if she's crazy. Anyways he is very nice and very patient with us. They should never fire him because he is actually nice to the customers unlike the lady.

I’m pregnant and was craving some Chinese food. We’ve never had a problem with them before. We decided to order on line. I order the Chicken Chow Mein dinner which should come with rice. When my husband brought it home it was Chicken Lo Mein which included mushrooms that I can’t eat. On top of that, the Lo Mein doesn’t come with rice. I was highly disappointed and irritated. Make sure you to check your food before bringing it home.

My mother, sister, and I decided we wanted dinner from MAW. We ordered about 40.00 worth of food. It was ready when I picked it up- first he said that he had given me the wrong total on the phone. when we got home- it was the worse that I have ever gotten ! My sister never got her crab rangoons, my mothers chicken chow mein hadn't any flavor-very bland, and my vegetable lo mein had two pea pods- three water chestnut slices, a little bit of onion- no vegetables like it should have had !!! Very disappointed. Last ime ordered- charged for fried shrimp and never got any- the order was at least 100.00 !!!

I was pretty disappointed after dropping 50 dollars to eat there and was whisked away after dropping this amount. I probably should have ordered take out. Eating there made me feel impoverished because I was eating my dinner with plastic utensils and from a styrofoam plate. I had no idea there would be such a communication barrier. I ordered the Treasure Island, and, low and behold, it came with chicken fingers which had not been addressed according to their menu option. As such, I had to pay and extra $1.65 for the chicken finger sauce. My girlfriend was rudely interrupted from her dinner experience because employee staff decided on their own terms to kindly pack up the remainder of our dinner with her fork still in her hand. It was very evident that everyone in this establishment was more than eager to go home fairly, and rudely, early. Two stars is too generous; I would give it one-and-a-half. This best thing about this restaurant, however, is their hot and sour soup -- it is to die for! The rest remains...well...you'll see for yourself.

Not sure what other reviewers are whining about. MAW is cheap but good Americanized Chinese food. It is exactly what it claims to be. Greasy and delicious without the obnoxious pretense that some of the other Chinese eateries downtown suffer from. If you are expecting a 5 star restaurant, go somewhere else. If you want good portions of greasy-licious food for cheap, MAW is the place to go.

We went to Men at Wok because we were in a rush our regular Chinese take out restaurant is further away. Our mistake. The food at men at Wok is average, at best, even for Vermont, which is not known for its Chinese cuisine. We won't make this mistake again. Drive the extra few miles to go into Burlington for better food. It's worth it.

The service quality is pretty bad at this eatery. The food quality is average and greasy. Don't be too surprised if your order isn't what you originally ordered. If you order a large order for take-out, bring a menu with you or double-check off the menu (at their location with a not-so-great language/communication problem) with what you had ordered. We've never had our order correct ... so, we usually go somewhere else for Chinese food.

The best Chinese food in town. Service is slow during busy times and the staff can get cranky. Avoid both problems by calling in orders 20-30 minutes ahead. If you order in person it'll drive you crazy how many get served before you!

used to eat here all the time....but..did a togo order..was incorrect..found out after getting home.poked food, thought about keeping it but changed my mind, called and went back to change it out. they grabbed the food from me, rebagged it since i had ripped the bag open handed it to a customer and apologized for the delay to him..never looked to see if i had eaten any, spit it it or worse. have not been back since sadly it was close and tasty..doesn't sound horrible but was 40 minutes between swap and i could have blew my nose in it...who'd know

This is the best Chinese food in the area. Be hungry because they pile on the rice and give you a ton of food for your buck. The best crab rangoons at any take out spot in the area. Students take note: This is worth a a trip to Williston.
