Horrible service. Rude waitstaff. Tried to have a party there. A disastrous experience. Stay away at all costs.

I love their orange shrimp, and unlike the review above I love the won ton soup! Everything is fresh and yummy!

This is one of the finest restaurants. We eat there often and have never been disappointed. The Boneless ribs exceptional.

After reading several reviews, I thought this restaurant would be very worthwhile. However, I spent over 20 dollars on lo mein, wonton soup, and a spring roll, and I was utterly disappointed. The food was nearly flavorless, except for the spring roll which was drenched in grease and filled with pork that left me feeling sick. The wonton soup was garnished with nearly raw red and green peppers--not very chinese at all. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you're craving fast food chinese food.

Because of these reviews we ordered the Crispy Pork Grand Marnier along with a tofu veg. dish. It was so good, I now crave it two days later! My new favorite place!

This is some of the best Asian food in New England. Great service, excellent food priced on the higher end of moderate, and worth every penny!!! Highly recommend it

I was here recently and I can't remember why I haven't been here in a while! The food is so good. I love the india curry rice and their garlic rice and their gwin gin style dishes. Actually, I do remember why I haven't gone there in a while...I was eating here a lot and I got tired of it. But that's not a reflection on the food! This is a good place to take your parents when they come here to visit you from out of town and it's also a good place to bring your date...I like to come here before concerts at Higher Ground.

By far, one of the best Place to dine in Burlington VT, I'm from out of town and ever time I come to Burlington ,this is of the place I come to dine. Food is great every time. Love their nightly specials. Hunan Popcorn and the Gwin Jins are must tried.

This is an amazing chinese restaurant. I equate it to a South Burlington style Single Pebble , but not so pricey. My favorite is also the Gwin Jin (with shriimp, chicken, salmon, or tofu, etc...) with a touch of honey that makes this dish scrumptious!!! Plenty of parking and a soft, dim ambience for any first date or family outing.

I love this restaurant! While the Silver Palace offers the standard of Chinese food, the many of their dishes present a more traditionalized menu of the Asian culture. I love how they use all sorts of fresh veggies, and i especially love how they can cater dishes to my tastes! EVERYTHING is cooked to order, so if i feel like adding something to a dish they are very accommodating. They even have a gluten free menu! Many of my friends have a hard time being able to out to restaurants because of allergies, and the staff has always been very good to us! A definite MUST!

I agree with Vtchef, the food is really creative (like the Kwin Jin (not sure about the spelling). The restaurant has a nice ambiance, it's very clean, and the prices are good...the food reflects it. Very under appreciated.

For people who don't know where it is, it's right next to Higher Ground (which used to be a movie theater). The only annoying thing when I go near Silver Palace is when I see the little scenesters hanging around the area.

I always have the Gran Marnier pork and a fried calamari appetizer. I have never had anyone say their food wasn't fantastic and service wonderful.. You owe it to yourself to go.

Well I had to add that thisa is
byfar and above the best Chinise cuisine I've ever had in the burlington area. While most restaraunts offer the standard fare, the Siler Palace offers all of these same dishes plus many other non-mainstream dishes that are just incredible. The nice ambiance and quality of the food will bring you back for more. They don't get the press of the "trendy" downtown Chinese restaurant (think SP) but for the food, flavor, service, and price THIS IS the palce to go. PERIOD.
There this should have been my first review.
