Found the place a bit dirty..DO NOT look for atmosphere here. food was alright. I agree that any of these 5 star reviews must be the owners. NECI trained chefs should know not to use bare hands. will not return

I'm sooo happy to have discovered this place! Ate there yesterday and the food was really really good. I come to Burlington every summer and will definitely eat at Tommy's as often as possible. Totally loved the atmosphere, workers, and food. Best place in Burlington for affordable eclectic fare and ambiance!!!!!!!

This is one of those hole-in-the-wall joints you must eat at. The people are very friendly, and the deli-style ordering might put you off a bit, but don't be fooled. I had the absolute best sweet potatoe fries I've ever eaten, and a delicious steak burrito that had beans and potatoes on a plate with taco sauce, green sauce and the usual salad accompaniments. You will not be disappointed. Follow it up with coffee and dessert from the starbucks next door. The price, flavor and value can't be beat in Burlington.

Tommys grill does have great food. Also the kid at the cash register was very polite, and hes just 14! But responding to the "handling the food" thing, the boy doesnt touch anything other then the frys, and he uses tongs! i hope these guys go on for awhile showing everyone the meaning of great food.

Tommys girll is great. Best food in the city. Chef cleans his hands very well and is very nice. I recommend it if you truly appreciate fine food

I think I would have been happier if I hadn't watched the cook assemble my caesar salad with BARE HANDS..(hmm "hey mister did you wash those hands"). Bare decor, deposit dirty dishes in bucket on the way out......

Tommy's is a great deal. Delicious, authentic Mexican food as well as chiken fingers and fries, all in a cantina atmosphere. I highly recommend it for families with kids and anyone who appreciates great food.
