defintely a hidden gem in Cedar Rapids!!The food is outstanding,and the plate presentation is divine!!The only complaint i have is that i dine at this restaurant quite frequently(and have for a couple years now) and really look forward to the chef's creative daily specials,and it seems like lately they are always the same,or the same things rotated to make surf and turfs.Im not sure if its a sign of the harsh economic times and he is just trying to make more economical entrees or if he is losing some of his passion for creativity,but i say bring back the more eloquent and unusual entree features that got me hooked on Daniel Arthur's in the first place!!!
That being said,I have never been disappointed or walked away being anything less then completely satisfied with my dining experiences here.
The service staff is outstanding,its nice to see the same faces over and over again when i am greeted at my table. They are knowledgeable,friendly,and very professional, all without being "stuffy" or stiff.

Food was amazing! the chef is one of a kind, he even came out to our table to talk to us to see if we enjoyed our meal. Enjoyed is an understatement! It was the best meal we have ever had! I'd recommend the scallops, best scallops around!
