food was good, service was great... the disgruntled noises coming from the very open kitchen, not so good. I work food and beverage and I've learned over the years that late tables are part of the game. Don't put open til 9 on your roadside sign if your going to treat people like shit for coming in 35 minutes before 9. And don't give out your burger only menu to people who drove all the way out from west ashley to try your dinner menu just because you want to get out a few minutes early. If we wanted burgers we would have stayed in town and gone to triangle char and bar! Like I said, our server was great, the mouth on the kitchen staff, not so great. If you can't serve folks in a comfortable atmosphere until closing time, do what my restaurant does, and tell them at the door that you had an early rush and slow evening, kitchen has closed early. Offer the burger menu if you like, but don't pretend its the only food you have to offer. Probably won't be coming out to see you again, will stick with See Wee when out that way...every Wednesday for AWENDAW GREEN!
