Oh, the food yesterday for Mother's Day was so outstanding. Wish I could have eaten MORE! Fantastic beef tenderloin with mushroom gravy, the omelette and waffle station were far beyond good, the shepherd's pie was far better than I expected, all the sides like potatoes, vegetables, bacon, pork sausage and Italian sausage, Cesaer's salad, other salads, shrimp w/cocktail sauce, escargot, mussels, turkey, pork with dijon mustard sauce, salmon, ham, quiche, cheese tray, breads, desserts galore. I only had some of these and there was even more on the buffet that I have forgetten. But every single mouthful was incredible.
I've been a patron for quite a few years and they never cease to amaze me. The service is beyond compare (I just learned that most everyone is related to Danielle or is a close family friend).
You will not find food like this anywhere in Cincinnati. The ambience is casual, French country, red/white checkered tablecloths, in the main room with a long bar....more formal with white tablecloths in the other rooms, but those are not open for lunch. GO, you will LOVE it.
Great place for breakfast. Biscuits are truly homemade. Very comfortable place with great service, enjoyable-light ambiance with
