Restaurant Description

After a long COVID shutdown, Osteria Italian re-opened for business in Dec-2021. We relocated to a cozy little spot in the Ohio Savings Plaza building off Walnut Ave. Still serving those great, fine dining Italian meals, made fresh daily, complimented with a large selection of Italian wines

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you Dexter and Raquel for such an incredible fine dining experience at Osteria, I truly felt like I was spending time catching up over an amazing meal and drinks with family members that I haven’t seen in forever!!

I came to Osteria with my colleagues that are from the Bay Area a few weeks ago after an almost 10hr day of working in the community and we stayed here from 7pm until way past midnight!! I’ve NEVER stayed at a restaurant for more than 5+ hours before but the food, staff (shoutout to Jada and the fabulous chefs that I hugged because the food was so delicious and made with love!!), ambience and music playlist (shoutout to DJ Dexter!) kept us at Osteria for that long.

You might have a hard time making a selection from the menu as we did because EVERYTHING looks and sounds delicious. If you think the pictures that I’ve attached to my review and others make the food look enticing, I promise you they don’t do itjustice, you have to try it for yourself. We ordered from every section on the menu and weren’t disappointed at the least with anything that we received. From the Antipasti section, we ordered the scallops marnier, meatballs, baby arugula salad and cream of asparagus soup. As entrees we ordered the pollo piccata, grilled lamb rack and ribeye steak. For dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed the creme brulee, banana foster tiramisu and blueberry bread pudding… Have you ever had food so good that made you grateful to be alive and have tastebuds?! We did at Osteria.

To say that the owners, Dexter and Raquel, are a power couple is an understatement! The both of them are fascinating people that I believe every guest should get to know more about if you are dining here. I can’t wait to come back for the live entertainment, although we were serenaded by Dexter himself who has a lovely voice!

At the end of the night we toasted to our hard work and wonderful dining experience there by trying a spirit that they own called ColBleu Vodka, PLEASE look it up (https://colbleuvodka.com/)!! I loved it so much I bought a few bottles as gifts. ColBleu is a very well crafted 8x distilled vodka that has blue collar roots in Cleveland, hence the name, and is available in Northeast Ohio and in select markets across the country, please do yourself a favor and buy a bottle or three like I did :)

After you visit, come back and submit a review, I promise that at the end of your meal you will feel compelled to. I wish I could give Osteria and the staff there 12 stars for how amazing my dining experience was. I plan on having my birthday dinner here in November and I have friends visiting Cleveland over the next few months and Osteria is on our list of destinations to give them the full home away from home Cleveland experience :)
