Arethusa A Mano, a delightful cafe linked to Arethusa Dairy Farm in Litchfield, offers a unique gastronomic experience in Bantam. Situated on the main road, the cafe can get busy, but parking behind the dairy farm is a convenient alternative. Indulge in delectable treats like cronuts and gingerbread lattes in a cozy ambiance adorned with farm-themed decor and ample natural light. The cafe's high-quality offerings and charming atmosphere make it a top choice for a memorable culinary adventure in Connecticut.

Pay attention to your billing and receipt. It's ridiculous that there is an up charge after you buy a breakfast sandwich for $9.35 then you are up charged $3.95 for the bagel when offered an list of different rolls. I also asked for ham which was another addition (which I expected). My breakfast sandwich cost me $15.95 - my disappointment was when I saw on my receipt that I was charged a 20% tip of $8.08 (I also took home 4 cookies and a latte - total bill was $42.97) I did put a couple of dollars in the jar. TIPPING IS AT MY DISCRETION!!! How dare you add a tip to my bill!!! I picked up my own food at the counter - I was not served. Dont get me wrong the food is fabulous but there is something shady going on here.
I was alerted to the "up charging" because I come in twice a month and usually pay cash but this month I paid attention after noticed I paid 6.00 for an oatmeal cookie with my two lattes. My bill was $16.00. I'll drive anywhere for good food but I wont continue to be ripped off. Cookies are 4.95. Who gets the dollar??
Be forewarned - there is a problem here!
