We went to Montana Mike's Steakhouse in Corpus Christi for lunch on April 27, 2011 and everything was great. We were greeted right when we walked in the door and our party of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) were sat without having to wait. The service was awesome and the food was great. We will be visting this location again!

My family and i ate at this Montana Mikes on 9/10/2010 and I must say it was the worst experience we ever had in any eating establishment. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and it was spoiled meat, my daughter ordered the T-Bone steak, medium well, and it was bleeding, my wife ordered ribs and they tasted terrible, I also ordered Fried Shrimp and the shrimp was raw. When we told the waiter all he said was "I'm sorry"! and he never told the manager, we finally talked to the manager and he comped the bill, so we paid $32.42 for two salads, one tea and one soda. The salads were OK, but, not worth $34.42. we'll never go to any Montana Mikes or any of its affiliates ever and I strongly recommend the all of you reading this review DON'T EVER GO TO MONTANA MIKES IN CORPUS CHRISTI. I went to their nation home page and sent them this review the day after the horrible experience and I have not heard from their management, I guess they just don't care!!!!

Yes I was there at Montana Mikes about a week ago. I have to admit it was very disappointing. I bragged about Montana Mikes before I brought my date and she was so excited to be only let down by the service. My waitress was horrible in every way. If you want a customer to keep coming back the service has to be top notch. The food plays a big part too but if the food is so so and the service is excellent...I'm coming back every time. I havent given up on Montana Mikes and I will be back. Sorry I had to slam your waiting staff but it was very embarrassing.

When this restaurant opened, they served "fair" food. Price was average so we kept coming back trying different menu items. The peppercorn beef has always been rather tough. The shrimp is your run of the mill frozen battered shrimp. We have had some luck with the kabobs. It's hit and miss. Sometimes we will get a tender kabob and sometimes we get tough ones. Will the staff is friendly, they are lacking in competence. My most recent experience was today as we ordered carry out. I requested extra tarter sauce with my shrimp. I got none, however I did get a tablespoon container of red sauce. My wife ordered her kabob and it was over cooked and tough. I feel we have given Montana Mike's plenty of opportunity to step up their game and were once again disappointed. We're not to concerned, there are plenty of very good steakhouses in town. We have eaten at Montana Mike's in other towns and they were not as bad. Sorry to say, we won't be going again as many other restaurants are competing for my hard earned money.

We went there 2/6/10 and met the new manager Larry. He had a great attitude and made us feel at home. Ordered the prime rib, it was great cook just the way I like it. My wife had Steak and Shriimp and she was really happy with her meal. We had been there a few months ago and food was alright but waitstaff was very weak. I would recommend it to anyone, looking for a great steak at a good price.
