One of the best Soul Food places I've been to in a long time. The food was pretty good and the staff was soooo friendly and nice. Would definitely go back. Thinking about going today...LOL

First of all, to the 3/27/2009 response Michelle's is not the only soul food restaurant in Dallas. I have eaten there plenty of times and the service has always been good. You were quick to assume and judge about the person who waited on you that you didn't even take the time out to see if it was Michelle. Michelle doesn't work in the restaurant, it was a name given by the owner Mike. It would be wise for one to get their facts straight before they go trying to put down someone or something.

I was in the rest. yesterday and was served by a middle aged black woman in a white shirt, and pony tail, she was so rude to me and anyone else that came through the line that I will never go back, its disappointing that one of the ONLY soul food rest in dallas has to be run like this. the couple in front of me ordered 2-2meat plates which come with 3 sides, the first lady chose her 3 sides then the man did but he only chose 2, because he thought it only came with 2, well Michelle ( I assume it was her because if anyone else was that rude they would have been fired on the spot) so the first lady informed her bf that it came with 3 sides and when they asked for the 3rd they were treated to a bunch of stuff talking from Michelle, who was rude to everyone. I have to say your food is not sooooo good that people would put up with being treated like crap, and in this economy with restauraunts with much more patronage and capital than you, keep up this attitude and see if you dont find yourself in need of someone you probably just got through be litteling.
