Sunday I went to Arby's about 11am and ordered their 2 for $6 fish sandwich special, both NO tartar sauce. Woman told me the fryer wasn't hot yet so to go park and she'd bring it out. About twenty minutes later she brought the bag out and said the 'cook' had made other peoples orders and let mine sit there. She said she's had a problem with him and he doesn't listen.
Got home and both sandwiches were marked as having no tarter sauce but mine had tarter sauce on both the top and bottom bun. The fish was covered in it. I scraped off as much as I could and then rinsed the piece of fish and tossed it in a skillet to warm it back up and ate it without the nasty tarter sauce covered bun.
I called and asked for the manager and told her what had happened. It was the same lady who's taken my order and she said I could come back and they'd remake the sandwiches but there was no way I'd go back there and have the same guy make me any food after he screwed up the order the first time. I told her the reason I'd stopped at Arby's was because they weren't busy and I figured I'd get the order right. If I wanted to get a messed up order I'd have gone across the street to McD's. She got mad and said she can't control the people making the food and to have a nice day and hung up on me. If she can't make her people do what they're getting paid to do then she's not much of a manager and Arby's needs to get rid of her AND the employee who won't listen to her.
Sent an email to Arby's HQ and gave them all the facts. Was told they'd respomd in three days. Today is the fifth full day and haven't heard from them. Probably never will. Corporate is probably thinking all the new restaurants going in around here is what's killing their business when the fact is their own employees are driving the customers away. When they close no one will miss them. IMHO
