It's a neighborhood place. A decent place with decent food Been there forever. It's a Capitol Hill institution with all that means. I'm going there tonight in fact. A house of BBQ for all people.

sadly just average BBQ. By DC standards its probably a great place because there really isnt good BBQ in this city.

nice meal high priced some stuff didnt taste that great im a with bill the crowd is a little rough and its not because there black its b/c of the way D.C is set up well to do or rich people are only a block or street away from poor people not a problem but it could lead to violence! however i've been to this place many times the owners are wonderful the service is fast, you get large portions so you will leave full. it is also pretty small so do take it home or you will be elbow to elbow with the next table

The food is great and quick. If you live on the NE side of Capitol Hil it's the perfect place to pick up dinner on the way home. Absent perfect weather (during which you can avail yourself of the patio) I would recommend eating at home as there is not much space and some of the patrons coming through might best be described as "rough around the edges" and may not make the best dinner companions.
