The previous review was quite to the point- Left Bank lacks atmosphere.... it's trying to be trendy but it it's not.
We went there on Saturday and it was nearly empty. We left and went to another bar next door which was crowed and much more fun.

Avoid! not worth it!

If Left Bank was situated anywhere else but in Adams Morgan I would have given it an overall 5 (decent, OK place). However, given that there are at least 50 better alternatives within 1 block distance I find it hard to justify going there.

Food is OK- much better at nearby places
Music OK - but the sound quality is as if it comes from a pair of PC speakers with an added 50$ subwoofer from Best Buy...far below par.
Crowd is OK - but again, far better alternatives nearby and there is just something major missing in there... the place lacks VIBE!

Excellent little lunch or brunch spot when its warm. The huge window/doors open up and so it's really open and airy. It's a bit pricey, but good chill spot to people watch over a drink.
