They have the best pizza around. Their pizza is always fresh and the dough is just amazing. I love that they use fresh dough daily and what amazing subs and wings they have. The competition cannot touch them in anyway. I have been a longtime customer and Al's is the best place.

I live on the Hill and I have to say that they do have some of the best pizza around. I love their variety of pizzas they offer. I will be only Ordering from Al's.

First off I wasted about 5-10 minutes trying to get their coupon to print correctly because it wasn’t formatted correctly. Then when I arrived to pick-up the coupon wasn’t honored and the guy at the register didn’t know how to do math very well. So I just gave up trying to save a couple of bucks. The calzone I received looked nothing like the one shown on their website. It was basically a small pizza folded in half with a little Ricotta added to it. The pizza was a little better but still just really bad D.C. pizza. For the ‘hood’ East and North of Lincoln Park I’m sure it is fine. Those people are okay with shopping at stores like Murray’s where every can in site is dented anyway. D.C. disappoints me. Why is it so difficult to find good reasonably priced Pizza? 2 Amy’s is the best it gets. But it’s too far away and the crowds are unbearable. Matchbox and Coppi’s are tasty but expensive. Busboys and Poets Pizza isn’t bad but it is a single serving size. In what has become a ridiculous search for good affordable pizza I will continue to just stick with a Whole Foods giant-sized pie for $10 and bake it myself. I suggest you do the same if you live near Capital Hill.

I live on the hill and have been ordering from Al's for the last two year. The pizza is good and I love the wings.
One major complaint -- on their website they say that they honor coupons from all Capitol Hill pizzeria, however this is not true. I called with another coupon with a large pizza and wings for $13.99 from another place. I was told that they would match, but it would be $20 including tax. When I said that tax should not be that much on that amount, they said "Do you want the pizza or not".
While I like their food, I am not sure why you would put something that prominent on your website and then just not honor it.

Good pizza on the hill. Our standard delivery pizza joint.
