I would not recommend this venue for dining. Servers are rude, food is not great and you would not want to step foot in the bathroom!

The food is wonderful any day of the week you go for the lunch buffet. I love how you can experience different regions of Indian cooking each day of the week. I am a big time meat eater, but I would have to say if I could cook vegetarian Indian food like that, I could totally do without meat. For downtown DC, the value is good, especially for an all you can eat buffet. Service has always been wonderful and personal and warm. I gave a 9 for the atmosphere but only because its gets so busy at lunch time and really crowded. I wish that there was another way they could lay out the restaurant so it is more comfortable getting around. Other than that, its tastelfully decorated and lit and clean.
06/25/2006 - Excellent Lunch Buffet
The food here was excellent! We went in for a lunch buffet, and were treated to an experience of a lifetime! The hostess sat us down, explained everything on the buffet, helped us decide what to eat, and also told us how to eat it. The experience was amazing, and the atmosphere was pleasant although it was very busy. I recommend this restaraunt to anyone who likes Indian vegetarian food.
