I live in Gaithersburg and make the trip down to Tropicana on a regular basis (3 time a month). The food is great and the staff is very friendly.

I have only had the Jerk Chicken, but I find it to be pretty good with a good amount of heat. The rice and peas is good also.

Not so good. I would pass on this place and hit up Nabby's Island Restaurant or Taste of Jamaica if you want a better quality meal.

Just bad. Can think of a number of better fast food joints. I hear that they are opening another one on H Street. Good luck with that.

I recently had a horrible meal at Tropicana. The food was cold, the service was slow and the place was dirty. Don't waste your money!

I've lived in the Washington DC metro area for 20 years now and I must say the food is very tasty. The best carribean food I've had in this area so far. Good place to go for take out.

Nice takeout joint. Excellent Food. I haven't found Jamaican food that's been as good anywhere else in the Metro DC area yet.
