Mona Lisa's is a contemporary Italian and Mediterranean restaurant. Upscale dining presented in a casual atmosphere. Our menu is always made from the freshest of ingredients farmed and harvested locally. The menu changes weekly and includes seasonal items along with local favorites. Our team of chefs prepare each menu item to order and our menu is created in house. Meats, fresh fish, vegetables, seasonal and classic pasta, pizza, appetizers, soup and salad are all offered. Just ok. Probably won’t hurry back. I ordered the Scallops Rockefeller and the tinest bay scallops I have ever seen. Cream sauce was watered down. Not a lot of taste, no bread or anything with the meal unless you ordered ala carte. Not worth the price imo.

We made a reservation and arrived on time. From the second we walked in the host, who we found out later was the owner, made us feel like we were an imposition. Our family drove 3 hours to celebrate my daughter's college graduation with her. With covid restrictions this was the only celebration we were having. Immediately after our food was boxed up and we paid the $400 bill, the owner abruptly told us she needed our table and we had to leave. At this point we didn't know she was the owner so on our way out we asked for her name. She said "Lisa, as in Mona Lisa", in a tone that made it very clear she thought we were complete idiots for not knowing who she was. We told her how disappointed we were at the way she treated us. Her response was to tell us we didn't need to come back. Trust me Lisa we won't.
Before eating here I strongly recommend you read the reviews and pay close attention to how she responds to the negative ones because that's exactly the type of service you will get from her.

From the moment we walked in the door Lisa made sure we were well aware that we were an imposition. Showing up with a group of 8, although we had made online reservations, made a note that there were more than 6 of us, left a voice mail asking to make sure it was ok, and having received a text back saying it was fine. Her demeanor from the start was terse and impatient. We shrugged it off and went ahead with dinner, sitting at two separate tables to accommodate the Covid restrictions. Dinner was fine, our waitstaff was friendly. Took about two hours for them to serve bread, entree, and dessert. Five minutes after our bill was paid, Lisa showed up at our table, demanding we leave to open up the table because she was operating at limited capacity. As I stood at the front door waiting for an opportunity to confront her about her attitude, I realized that all she had waiting was three other tables, one of whom was 15 minutes early for their reservation. Hardly a line out the door.... One iota of patience on her part would have left us with a good experience and no real problems. When I did confront her about her attitude, she responded rudely to that as well, ultimately, the best she could come up with was "well you don't need to come back." Don't worry, we won't. This place would be far better off keeping Lisa in the back of the house, and not letting her interact with customers. When you drop $400 at a place, you don't expect to be asked to leave, and you certainly don't expect to be told not to come back.

Lisa is a poor customer service representative she is flippant and has a poor attitude and was completely rude.
I dined at this restaurant. They charged me an automatic 18% gratuity. I accidentally paid an extra 20%. I called to rectify the double tip. I spoke to Lisa. She was very rude, flippant, and patronizing. They only do military discounts for active duty in uniform, which I stated I disagreed with. She went on and on about her knowledge about the restaurant industry, then basically pretended like she needed a novel written to refund my double charge. She made an excuse to add the the gratuity as a way of paying her wait staff by passing it on to the client instead of just paying them a living wage.
This woman has zero customer service skills. She actively and aggressively treats her customers poorly. She derided my military service and made me never want to go to this restaurant again. She is a poor example of any restaurant staff whether she is a manager or not. You have to treat people with respect. I would avoid this restaurant and go anywhere else.

I have been an avid Mona Lisa's fan for years. It has been my "go to" place for special occasions and have loved it. I recently visited again with a group of girlfriends and was very DISAPPOINTED. The food was great, but the nickel and diming that was going on was ridiculous and annoying. We had to pay extra for bread, extra for salad and still paid close to $30 for the entrée alone. I loved going here, but will be looking for another place to spend my special occasions.
