Serafini’s Restaurant was the best in Erie alongside Martucci’s. When old man Serafini opened during the 40’s, 50’s 60’s the sauce was the best in Erie. When his kids took over the sauce was never the same. Same with Martucci’s. When the new buyers took over they cheapened the sauce and it was never the same. Same with HECTORS ON LIBERTY the new owners took over and cheapened the sauce. All three went bust. Hopefully, the heirs will use the original recipe if they don’t all I can say is Good Luck!

My family and I have been coming here since I can remember. I moved to Florida and my Mom would ship me sauce and meatballs.

Best Italian food in area. The eggplant parmesan , wedding soup great. If you order spaghetti get it with meat sauce unreal. Don't forget the meatballs.

This is absolutely insane. No message when dialing to inform of the COVID changes. Online has very misleading messages. And they are CLOSED until further notice. We have gift cards that WILL be redeemed plus some. Can’t get anyone to speak to on the phone. And no email address to contact anyone directly. hIGHLY disappointed.

It would have been nice to know that they are currently not open. Traveled some distance hoping to enjoy a real Italian meal, and we’re sadly disappointed. Hopefully they will post something online or at their location informing the consumer. 😔

My wife and I buy their sauce and meatballs to go at least once a month.A loaf of fresh Italian bread is always included (free). The service is fast and courteous. We can`t imagine eating any other sauce or meatballs from another place.

We made reservations for Saturday lunch. Food was very good, but service was outstanding! Our party of 9 included several senior citizens whose needs were met cheerfully and respectfully. We had requested a table near the entrance so that our party would not have to walk very far, and that was taken care of, too. Very nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

I was an out of town guest visiting family in Erie. This place received the highest rating on line. However, the service was terrible from the bar to the waitress recognizing us when we were seated.
The food was nothing special either. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We waited for over an hour to get our drinks and then only after complaining twice we actuallly had a waitress take our order.
This was the second time we had an bad experience at this restaurant . Never again

Worst service I had ever had in a restaurant. Help was very slow and the gentleman at the front counter was rude. Took over 3” minutes to get our drinks ordered and another 30 minutes to place our order. Will never go back again.

Amazing Food! I've been going here since I was a kid and now with my own kids. It's just really, really good authentic Italian cuisine. Homemade pasta...haven't had a bad meal here yet. Friendly service and the prices are totally reasonable.

Was in town for marathon. Ordered a pound of spaghetti and three meatballs. So GOOD! Couldn't finish two meatballs they were so big but so delicious! Lots of sauce, pasta was perfect and they throw in a half loaf of dense Italian bread. Perfect food and sauce like my mom used to make! Perfect pre marathon dinner! You should hook up with Erie marathon directors offer a discount. But I thought the price was right on for the generous portions. I honestly cannot stop thinking about those meatballs!

Over-priced and under-cooked! Service was okay but had to wait for the meals. Seven people to celebrate a birthday was not worth $200. The broiled stuffed flounder was more crabmeat stuffing than flounder and did not taste that good. The veal piccata was bland and not completely cooked and noodles were not completely cooked. No one from management bothered to ask how things were either! Last time to go there. KFC next door is much better.

I went to the restaurant Saturday and was told the waitress I always ask for Heidi was no longer there. The experience was not the same without her being there. Next Saturday I will go to Nunzis.

The veal parmesan is excellent. And you can get the entire dinner as takeout.
