Reviews of Doc Holliday's Steakhouse
09/19/2013 - Two recent local guests
9/19/13 My husband and I walked in and we asked if we could be seated in the lounge as it seemed more quiet. There was no server or bartender in the lounge and it took 10 minutes to get menus, waters and place a drink order-there was only 1 other table in the lounge and the restaurant was fairly empty, as well. The shrimp popcorn appetizer (shrimp were over done) arrived with a hint of cocktail sauce and it took so long for the appetizer to arrive that our entrees came out immediately thereafter. The waitress/bartender never asked
how our meals were, the fries on both plates were undercooked, and my husband would have ordered a second beer but never had that opportunity. A waitress that we had never seen before, walked over and put our check on the table without asking, "can I get you anything else, how was your
dining experience" or even a "thank you". She simply marched away and we had a $70 check that was certainly not worth it. Never saw a manager, indifferent service, mediocre food and an overpriced check-wish we stopped at the Pizza Hut instead. We are locals from Prescott and were only here for one night, and were hoping for a better Williams experience. However, we'll know better next time.
