I'm sorry to say I had the worst restaurant experience I've ever had at this location today. I made reservations as this was a special Easter event they advertised with a sign outside stating Easter Egg hunt and brunch. This was our first and last time eating here. We arrived and there were no directions as to which door to enter, there are two. None of the staff was paying any attention to our family standing in the door way. With a restaurant not even half full and a reservation we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. By this point it was about 1:40 as we were a few minutes early. The egg hunt was scheduled for 2 pm. So we quickly started getting food for the kids as it was an open brunch. I'm sure the food was good at some point but what we ate was old dry food that had obviously been sitting out all day. At about 5 minutes until 2 pm I asked the waitress what we need to do for the egg hunt. She said go outside at 2. I looked at my watch and it was 5 minutes till and she also looked at hers and said she hadn't even realized. And yes my phone is set by the phone company so it should be correct. My husband was still eating, I told the kids to finish up so we could get outside. At that point another staff member said the egg hunt was going on outside. We rushed outside and before 2 pm the egg hunt was already over. There was no announcement and no organization. My kids waited all morning for this and there was not one single egg left. There were not many kids there and could have easily been handled better in several ways. We asked for the manager who didn't care and just said that the other kids had fun. As he turned around the staff member who was apparently in charge said to him that it was 2 pm on her watch. She could have waited to at least be out of ear shot of us, very poor taste. The manager didn't even offer to refund any our meal which was $30 per person due to the "event" which lasted about 2 minutes. We were treated like second rate citizens because we aren't regulars or golfers apparently. My kids don't deserve that and there is nothing that can replace ruining their Easter event. Don't waste your time or money is this low rate disorganized establishment. I receive better service at McDonald’s.
