Went for first time today. Breakfast was great...large portions, good price, good service. Love the 50s decor/music.

I saw the commercial on television and decided wait and visit for my birthday October 12, 2015. I was excited to try the southern fixings items. I was excited the place wasn't full right after lunch. My spouse and I sat at a booth and the waitress put the daily hot menu sign in front of our booth so we could see the daily specials hot bar items. I was happy to see they had the items on the hot bar I had been craving when thinking about visiting this place. The food arrived and I started to dig into my cabbage and corn bread and it was COLD no ounce of hotness! The same for the chicken and Mac and cheese it was colder than my ice tea to have come off the hot bar. The best part that saved the food even though being cold it had good flavor to it and that save the day somewhat! The waitress was friendly but she kept sneaking off somewhere and we would have look for her. This place doesn't seem to cater to well to the locals the other staff only seem to interact with a select one or two diners which make the place seem very unfriendly. We got the most interaction as we were leaving the guy said bye seems like four times we got out the door. My partner's cheesestake didn't even smell like one. The prices are reasonable, but not enough to make me want to visit again in the future. After we left a few hours later my spouse and I both noticed for a restaurant of home cooking it didn't have that smell of food cooking in the air aroma that makes your mouth water. My score is low because food taste wasn't enough to make me feel at home and welcoming enough to try it again. The food alone doesn't make great restaurant its the people and they lack in this area! Wanted fall in love with this place to add to the list of places to visit again when I'm in town, but I left a disappointed sad Georgia birthday girl!

My daughter and I had lunch for first time at Stuffy's today. She has the shrimp po' boy with fries, and I had the cheesesteak with fries. Both were excellent. Hot, fresh, homemade taste. Real, fresh potato french fries, not frozen. The service was great, and the food arrived quickly. We had an order of fried pickles while we waited. Great pickles, a premium thick pickle slice, hot and deliciously crispy. We loved the atmosphere and 50s diner theme. Also loved the way some of the staff wears the cute bow ties and white gloves. Nice to see instead of the usual t-shirts. Loved the server's bow ties and red aprons too! We will be back and spreading the word about this jewel of a place!
