Huge Thanksgiving disappointment! We went early- before the dinner rush. Although it is a charming little place, the food did not come close to meeting our expectations. The wine and appetizers were fine. The shrimp ceviche was great, but then things quickly turned. Our excitement and thoughts of a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner were quickly squashed with the delivery of our food. Our food came splattered on our plate. The food was plated sloppily with sauce every where. It looked like it was just plopped on the plate. All of our food was cold. Cold turkey and cold trimmings. The brussel sprouts were completely hard and didn't even look to have been cooked. They were halved, looked raw and had a drizzle of some type of sauce over them. That was all. Nothing looked to have been done to the Brussel Sprouts at all. The "sweet potato casserole" looked like it was simply sweet potatoes out of a can, it was cold, and had unmelted marshmallows over the top. Some marshmallows were charred as if they had been spot torched. The green bean casserole looked very unappealing and was also cold. We ordered a lamb chop. Two portions of the chop were held together by a wooden skewer piercing both sides. I've never seen that before! The inside of the lamb was raw. Needless to say, we didn't eat any of this entree. This was such a poor dining experience. We paid for our drinks and appetizers and left. The beautiful lights outside made up for the horrible experience, but the $93 bill for wine and appetizers left a bitter taste in our mouth that took some time to forget. We ended up getting some burgers because it was Thanksgiving and everything else was unavailable. We were surprised at just how bad the food and our experience was.
