La Lafayette is an amazing restaurant. The food is excellent and service great too. They have a tasting menu which allows you to sample 3 courses. Appetizer, entree and desert. The owners have renovated the building and it is a relaxing, charming atmosphere. Well worth it.

Lovely setting - good service. There is where is stops. The food was marginal at best. The price was over the top.

EASILY THE BEST FRENCH RESTAURANT IN SW FLORIDA AND ONE OF THE BEST IN THE USA. I LIVED IN PARIS FOR NINE YEARS AND THIS RESTAURANT IS RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE BEST MICHELIN 3*-LASERRE-LEDOYEN-TAILLEVENT ETC. A MUST VISIT IF YOU LIKE AUTHENTIC FRENCH FOOD. GREAT WINE LIST, AMBIENCE AND SERVICE.

Ambience and decor is nice. Unfortunately, the food and service were not so nice. Our server was a pleasant fellow but failed to do what anyone would expect from a supposedly high end restaurant ... i.e. pour wine etc. In symphony, any chef should know how to cook steaks to order ... not so at Lafayette! Overall very very expensive and unsatisfying experience indeed. We will not go back. There are too many other great restaurants to patronize in Naples.
