I love Skyway Jacks and during normal circumstances we go several times a week and love their food. Now that we are in the Cov-19 epidemic and restaurants are to seat 6 feet apart and servers wear facemasks I have to question the lack of compliance or lack of caring for their customers safety when seating customers. The tables are still set close to each other and nothing is really in place to separate the tables in the middle of the restaurant. On Sunday's when they get busy between 9 and 10 o'clock customers are seated at any table that is empty. The hostess does attempt to sit the customers as far apart as possible but if they get busy they sit them at tables next to each other. I am glad to see they put the plastic partition up between the booths but that is all they did. They should have taken out every other small table in the middle of the restaurant or put X's on every other one so that when they get busy there is no chance of mistakenly putting customers closer than 6 feet. We have had friends that came to the restaurant last week and saw how close the customers were seated that they walked out. We tried again today and saw some customers that were seated at a table next to another table so these customers got up and left. I haven't seen this overcrowding during the week but on weekends when their business gets busier. I'm surprised they haven't been fined but maybe no they haven't been checked on the weekends, particularly Sunday's.
