Get a group together to do this. A fun one time thing to do but once you have seen it your probably over it for a while. Food and service were adequate. I stress its much more appreciated with a group of good friends to share the experience. The birthday segment the night we were there got very long and boring. Hopefully they don't have 16 birthdays the night you go. The dessert drinks were expensive but Delicious.

I've been to GREAT places like Lucky Chang, however, LIPS is probably the worst "restaurant" in South Florida. What a waste of money. The food was DISGUSTING!!! They force you to eat there and everything was inedible. The service was inexcusable. Then the parade of celebrants across the stage was a complete BUZZ kill!!! We were bored sober. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY!!!

"If l had to rate the show l would give it a 6. The prices are out rages it is a clip joint. The waiters or waitress are the acts. There are two people serving and they are the acts. Two preformers doing everything. Drinks and a meal will cost you well into $100 and that is not with the cover charge. Listen other people may love this show but as far as us we will not return. "

FIrst off there is a cover AND a food minimum. Keep in mind that the tip is included on the bill with the cover, so the cover is added into the percentage. The food is overpriced for what it was. I got calmari that was sooooooooooo salty while my girlfriend got a chicken caesar salad with cold, bland chicken. The service was terrible as our "waitress" was rude and they are all in the show, so they cannot serve you. The show was dumb, just go see Ashley Simpson, she is better at lip syncing than these money grubbing queens. Oh, and be prepared to be there for at least two hours despite how bored you are. Bring lots of money because it is basically just a scam, trying to sell you on one thing after another, sure the valet parking is free, but it mandatory and you are a douche if you do not tip them. Oh, and do NOT come in large groups because they do not split up the bill at all, so they get a bigger tip, and get more money from their atm which has a huge fee. If you are not very hungry but would like desert and need to get past the damn minimum, here's a pointer, wait a bit to order no matter how catty your "waitress" is, because the deserts are not on the menu and you are only told about them later in the show. So if you would like to go to a restaurant that is loud, don't like nice service or refills on drinks, has terrible food, makes you sit there forever, tries to suck more money out of you every second, and you happen to be a middle aged woman obsessed with irony or sex in the city, then i guess Lips is the place for you. Me? I would prefer a bullet to the face, it would be faster and less painful then going there again.

For being a 16 year old girl and actually being able to get in... it was fun. No one asked for ID like most other places do. Our "waitress" was slightly rude in grabbing my friend's boobs, but that's why you go to a drag show. Too many birthday announcements though. And all focus was on them and the brides-to-be... The show was alright. Parts were funny. Others were definitely not. The food is expensive as hell!!!! For the 4 of us, we ordered 2 alfredo pastas and a chicken quesadilla with 4 waters. It came out to be $74.20 plus tip.. we ended up paying $86. Cover fee was $7 but I personally didn't find it too bad. You are getting to see a show. They work for your money.. Just like strippers but uglier. Overall it was a nice place. I definitely plan on going back but maybe when i can legally drink =P

The show is lame, the sound volume was way too high (we sat next to the stage and speakers - MISTAKE!), but the food and service were good. The show was boring, with each actor lip-synching rather than singing and basically repeating each other -- stand on stage for half the song, then walk through the audience until the song is over. If you go, request a table in the back so your ears won't be ringing when you leave. Our total was $55 for two, including food, tip and valet.

This is the place! I was brought here to this drag dining emporium by a group of friends who had been there before and loved it. I thought it would be a bit hockey (I'm straight), but what I found was a glitering, atmoshere-charged showplace, where the performers are the waitstaff and the drinks inexpensive and constantly flowing (some shows come with unlimited drinks).
The food was a good as the finest highend resturants in Fort Lauderdale, and it was more fun than you could ever have in a traditional resturant.
The show was dynamic and hilarious, and the crowd was a mix of gays, straights, blue-haired ladies, batchlorette parties, and just "traditional" couples.
An inexpensive, delicious, absolyutely wonderful and memorable experience!
I highly recommend it.
