We look for the unique. Al's fits the bill. Legend goes that Al is from Mexico and Mrs. Al is from Italy. So the chili Verde is RED, ok? You gotta get over it because it's delicious and the famous sauce is on a lot of the menu items.
Open 6 am - 3 pm, we're talking about breakfast and lunch here. Start off with the chili Verdi omelet then try something else on your next visit. If you eat at lunch time, you're not gonna have room for dinner. Enjoy!

This place has best food in town. I have had the sandwiches, breakfast, and Mexican dishes. Fantastic!! The chile verde is the tastiest with the most tender pieces of pork. It is worth trying. The carne asada is very good.
I will return to Al's Cafe again and again.
