Best “home cooked” meals! It’s hard to still find these types of restaurants anymore. I’m so thankful for Doug’s! Worth the drive.

The best country cooking around. I am deaf and live in Marietta and drive there at least once a week. They always treat me with dignity and respect. Very courteous waitress.

Our favorite place for home style food. Meatloaf is delicious! Greens with cornbread, pinto beans, mashed potatoes, fried chicken or chicken livers-delicious! Best iced tea around.

Nothing but awesome service and food and waitresses. This place is awesome. Thank you very much for everything is wonderful. Cannot wait to see ya’ll. Is there a menu for every day where I would see the menu and look for cornbread dressing. It never failed at all. Can you still call me and call and tell me the lunch menu and later menu and I listen. If you know please send the number for the menu line. I would appreciate it so much. God Bless you all

The write ups in Southern Living Magazine are true! This place is wonderful. Great county food, a meat and 3 veggies for a really great price. It's not a white tablecloth resturant, but a country, family place. You'll tell your friends, they'll tell their friends and you'll all love it!
