By far the best Caribbean Restaurant in not just Athens, but Atlanta and possibly the SE. Great location a short walk from the UGA track in 5 points. Inside the decor proudly displays Jamaica and there is a covered patio as well.
The food is beyond superb. Favorites are the "jerk pork" which is like Jerk chicken, but pork cut in small pieces. It simply melts in your mouth! From the curry chicken to the salmon to the bar-b-que chicken everything tastes fantastic.
On fridays and weekends if you are lucky you can catch the oxtails and/or curry goat. Both are full of flavor. The sides are great with the two standouts the spicy cabbage (cabbage has never tasted so good) which is spicy and the cornbread which is included with each meal. You also get free sweet tea.
The owner Mr. Kelly is a delight to talk to as his staff. Well recommended!!!
