I grew up on Mexician food in Colorado, but El Sol has to be the best Mexician food i have ever eaten! The Chef is experimental in the kitchen, which leads to original zesty sauces that tingle the taste buds. It is a must try for anyone who loves Mexican food.

El Sol provides excellent Latin American food for dine-in, carry out, and delivery. The guacamole is some of the best I have ever had, and the Mexican style tacos are out of this world delicious. Delivery can be very slow, but well worth the wait, and more than once one of the owners has been our delivery driver, demonstrating a genuine care for food that too often escapes Athens restaurants. Although there are a few Latin American restaurants in Athens that provide better Latin American food than El Sol, none have the unwaveringly friendly service of El Sol, and none deliver.
