What in the heck happened?!? Ferrando's Pizza in Watkinsville used to make some of the best pizzas in town, and during evenings they were always packed. Now, quite honestly, I'd rather eat Domino's, and I guess everyone else feels the same since it's now 7 pm on a Friday night and they only have four tables seated. Their pizzas today (November 2010) are absolutely gross... stale dough, disgusting sauce, little cheese, half overcooked, the other half undercooked. I'm having trouble finding the appropriate (polite) words to describe the unpleasant taste... Sorry Ferrando's folks, but I keep giving you another chance and, unfortunately, keep regretting it.

For what it is worth, I used to manage a quality pizza joint so I know a good pizza when I taste one. Ferrando's nowadays sure ain't it. It is obvious to me that corporate needs to fire the local manager and hire someone who cares. I won't eat there anymore.

We have been customers of Ferrando's since they opened but the service has become terrible. We called in an order tonight and, once again, when we arrived to pick it up they had lost our ticket. We were in their system and they took my money but then told me there was no pizza. This is the THIRD time this has happened. There does not seem to be any management on site. The owners used to be there but not anymore. I honestly do not know how they are staying in business. We will not go back - the third time is the charm.

Great place, kid friendly, pizza is great, great specials, they even deliver, good chicken fingers too

This is a review for the Athens, GA store. We attempted to eat there tonight and was very disappointed with the pizza thjat waqs delived to our table. All of the cheese and meat was in the center of the pizza. The pizza was very greasy and the crust was thin. We had the server look at it and we returned the pizza. A second pizza was sent to us and it was so loaded with cheese that you could not even see the meat and vegetables. We refused the pizza. The servers were very under standing and cooperative. There was no manager on site. Where are the Owner's? if they don't check out there Pizzeria it will be out of business. The pizzas we have gotten in the past have been the best in Athens. Owners, please get with!
