Restaurant is over priced!!! Substitute charts are ridiculous!!! Take something off their standard menu, corn instead of french fries, and they charge you an ADDITIONAL $2.65!!! The overall management appears to be very poor.

One of our favorite restaurants here on the island is the Driftwood Bistro.

What is great about this place, is that entrees are in two sizes - regular and petite, and are about $10 apiece - less for the petite.
And if you are visiting Georgia and want some "good old southern cooking" you will not be disappointed!
And with every entree, you can order a bottle of wine for a flat fee of $10. You read that right.
So for dinner for two with a bottle of wine, the bill barely breaks $30, and sometimes doesn't even hit $40 with tip.
And in Georgia, if you don't finish the wine, they will re-cork it and you can take it home!
The best restaurant deal on the planet!

The food was exceptional. Everything we had was delicious even though it was late in the evening and they had an unexpectedly busy night. The food was all made fresh including the seafood. It was very cozy and the staff was super friendly. Will definitely eat there again and again!!

With excellent food, service and prices I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jekyll Island, GA. Their willingness to stay open beyond the posted closing hour , providing a terrific meal for tired travelers was most appreciated. As were the accommodations offered to our group of approximately 30 people dining together on another evening. Even with this large grouping, we were offered the opportunity to break-up the billing into family groupings. After visiting several other restaurants on the island, the Driftwood Bistro with its broad selection of menu choices and individually cooked deserts is one of the best restaurants on the island. We will undoubtedly return again the next time we visit the island.

This is a little Bistro with a big heart. Outstanding southern style food that is unmatched in flavor and quality. A must try is the Stuffed Collard Greens (have never heard of it) they are stuffed with seasoned ground beef and rice and served with a Creole Sauce that is to die for. My husband had the Fried catfish with cheese grits and fried okra. All I can say about the okra is absolutely amazing prepared completely different from what I was used to seeing. The okra is whole pressed flat and deep fried to a crispy "potato chip".

Me and my family usually go to Jekyll Club Hotel when wanting upper class dining. Now that we have been and ate at this particular restaurant, that now is no longer the case. The service was outstanding, food scrumptious, and then relaxed environment made it the best eating experience we've had in a very long time. Our server Jason was on the mark with knowledge of the menu and how to present our wine. I would highly recommend going to this establishment to fulfill all of your dining needs.
