Wow, where to begin here, my wife and I have been going here for a long time.
Recently though the food and service have been getting worse and worse.
Lots of help coming and going, some nice, good and most trying very hard.
We feel like we are always strangers when we enter, no one acknowledges us, or says HEY!, just the timid greeting when the new waitress shows up.
My wife and I have always liked going there for a burger on Saturday nights at about 6 pm.
We get a few drinks and then get some food, my wife always gets the Everything burger and I try everything on the menu.
Recently the burgers meet have been coming out very dry, and it has been taking a lot longer to get a refill on our beverages.
Now the thing is, is that this pace has hardly any one in it at 6-7 pm.
So tonight, 12-30-17 the burger my wife had was again very dry, but we said nothing at this time.
My wife asked for another beer, hers was gone and she was working on a very dry burger.
20 minutes later, with only two tables in the place occupied, still no beer.
I signal the bartender Brandon, he looks over and says"what ?"
I say " we are disappointed, where is the beer and the food was yet again sub par"
Brandon asked me if I would like to talk to the manager?, I reply "Yes I would"
He calls on the phone tp Doreen, and says a customer would like words.
Doreen appears a few minute latter and asks' what's the problem?
I start with "you are on a sinking ship here" (maybe not the best opening words)
"we have been coming in here for a very long time and the service and quality of food has been getting more and more disappointing"
Doreen says " maybe this should be the last time you come in here"and then walks away.....
WTF... did that just happen?....Yes it did

Worst experience EVER! Horrible service. Horrible food. Even the beer was lukewarm.There as so many great places in Grand Rapids, Ihate that I wasted a meal at this dump. The owner is a total idiot and didn't care about the quality of our food oe service. Don't waste your time...just go ANYWHERE else and you'll be happy!
