Six of us went to MiMi's on a Friday evening. Although the name implies a Steakhouse - do not expect a steak restaurant. The name also mentions Sushi - again sorry but the only sushi there is on the menu but the menu is outdated and they no longer have a sushi bar! This is a Japanese steakhouse without the traditional Japanese ambiance. We found the chef entertaining and food to be good. Not outstanding just your run-of-the-mill Oriental Steakhouse fare.

Our main disappointments were related to the wait staff. We were seated immediately but it took 15 minutes to order our drinks 15 more minutes for them to arrive and another 35-40 minutes after we ordered for the chef to arrive and begin cooking. This could be related to the fact that there were 6 FULL tables but only two chefs - Not enough staff to support the demand.

We have been to better restaurants of this nature and would probably go to them rather than return to Mimi's.
