We were recently at Elaine's for a get-together after a funeral. The arrangements had been pre-arranged and the management changed the setup twice which was amenable to our host on the condition that he be allowed to use the handicapped bathroom in the other room. When it came time to use the bathroom...the door was locked to get access to the room. When he inquired on it, the elderly female manager proceeded to yell at him and said he had to use the normal bathroom which was a hardship for him. He mentioned that the owner had agreed to allow him access but she would not hear of it. Just a total unprofessional approach in treating the clientele. Creating a scene in front of the whole restaurant. Not a way to ever be treated let alone at such a somber event as this. You can be certain that none of my family, friends or acquaintances will ever set foot in this restaurant again.
