Always enjoyed this restaurant when they were in Hartford's south end. Since they've move to West Hartford, their prices have doubled!! I Won't be visiting :(

I've been to this restaurant a few times and the food is pretty nasty and the service is absolutely terrible. When I asked to speak to a manager the waitress said she owned the place and walked away. Angela is a complete bitch and I recommend you go elsewhere for some real afghan food. Even the hookah was horrible, it tasted like mud and Angela put her nasty lips on our mouthpiece and refused to give us a new one!

I have been here a couple of times and the thing that keeps bringing me back is the special rice. It tastes great and for the most part the dishes are OK but the reason I had to give this restaurant a bad rating is the sides they serve you. they are terrible. The spinach came from one of those frozen bags you would see at stop and shop. The rest of the sides were of equal poor quality. They need to stick to FRESH VEGETABLES for there sides. It really ruined the experience for me

The food was excellent for the most part. The potatoes are nothing special, but OK. However the Beef Shammi Kabob, Chicken Kabob, Spinach rice and the specialty Kebali rice were outstanding to our tastes. There is a fully stocked bar and the drinks were good. The prices were not bad, and I only down rated the value because of the potatoes. We'll definately put this restaurant on our favorites list.
