THIS PIZZA IS #1 IN THE TOP 3 PLACES IN THE HARTFORD AREA FOR PIZZA. I HAVE LIVED IN WEST HARTFORD FOR 30 YEARS AND HAVE TRIED EVERY BODY'S PIZZA. SINCE I HAVE MOVED WELL OUTSIDE OF HARTFORD, AND I ONLY MAKE THE DRIVE FOR 1 PIZZA AND THAT PIZZA IS LENA'S ON PARK ST

This place has been around for a LONG time. The food is very good, though the chicken-based soups seem to use can broth. Their rolls are home-made & unforgetable, especially the garlic ones. Their pizza is probably their trademark. The grinders are average. Clean place with service dining on 1 side & counter service on the other. Can buy pizza by the slice, calzones, etc. Clean place and staff that is helpful/pleasant. Very popular place but always a parking spot on the street or in their back lot. I recommend it highly.
