Delicious diner food - especially the breakfasts. Reasonable prices. Don't be afraid of Hartford. If you are in the area you should try this wonderful mom and pop restaurant.

Papa's is a famly run business that is a tradition for most in the area. I am a senior that has been visiting Papa's since I was a teen. The staff are pleasant (especially Jane, who remembers eveyone),service is prompt and the food is great.Anyone who wants a hot, hardy, meal should try Papa's. I hope it will be there forever!!!!

Living in CT there are a lot of places to go for a good hot dog. I've been to almost all the big name hot dog places (woody's, super duper weenie, etc.) so it took me totally off guard when I walked into this pizza shop for a quick bite, ordered a hot dog, and found myself eating the best hot dog I've ever had.
I've been back to have their pizza and it filled the hole but wasn't the kind of pizza I really like. I had a real thick crunchy crust.
If you ever go to Papa's (which I recommend you do) I think you should go for the hot dogs but skip the pizza.

I've been going to Papa's since I was 14; I'm 29 now. Their food is great. Customer service is awesome only during the week days when Sue comes on. The 2nd shift people suck @ servicing food & customers. Overall, I think Papa's is a great place.

THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST CHEESE PIZZA & ONION RINGS THAT YOU WOULD EVER WANT IN YOUR LIFE. ALTHOUGH, I HAVE TO ADMIT I DID NOT LIKE THEIR STEAK & CHEESE GRINDER SO, STAY AWAY FROM THAT. ALSO, THEIR HOT WINGS, FRIES & CHICKEN TENDERS ARE GOOD.
